User folders or personal spaces are not available in Cyn.in. A member folder is created automatically when a user signs up. But, here no content can be added. It is an automatically aggregated area that lists all the content that the user has created or contributed on.
If you have any specific requirements, do share it with us.
Well, was looking for the straight-Plone equivalent of a personal area for blogs and files, etc... a place where colleagues could post their current thoughts and personal work/research. I suppose I could simulate it with creating a special tree of spaces and assigning rights, but of course that's manual and won't integrate into navigation (especially the user profile displays).
Main thing I was trying to understand, is why the "features" graphic at http://www.cynapse.com/cynin/features suggest it exists if it doesn't... -Alan
I agree with Alan, it could be great if Cyn.in could include in future version a personal space for users, since sometimes a User just ask for a place to put personal stuff.
I'm evaluating Cyn.in as SharePoint replacement, and the SharePonint feature of "MySite" is something that I really miss in Cyn.in.
Dear @Romasha, could you tell us if the is a plan to add a functionality like this? or on the other hand, do we have to set up personal spaces manually as Alan said?
