I've set up an community installation under debian. Everything works like a charm exept for the mail subscription.

For example the "reset password" mail funkction works fine. But when I subscribe to a view or space no mail are being sent to my address.

Hi Carl-Fredrik,

If your regular user signup emails etc. are working fine, then this is probably related to the maildrophost daemon not running, or not being able to run.

You are probably running server by using "./bin/instance start" or something similar. Prior to doing this you must remember to start the maildrop host daemon which can be done by ./bin/maildropctl start
(or it might be named differently, just check the bin folder).

This will send the asynchronous / batch emails which have been lying in the maildrop folder. The notification email use a non-linear mechanism for speed.

I got the mails working after typing the SMTP Site as and Port as 25 and typing the username and password in the ESMTP username and password section.
