Hi,

I'm getting stuck in the install with the following error:
--
Develop: '/opt/cyn.in/src/ubify.policy'
Develop: '/opt/cyn.in/src/ubify.coretypes'
Develop: '/opt/cyn.in/src/ubify.spaces'
Develop: '/opt/cyn.in/src/ubify.viewlets'
Develop: '/opt/cyn.in/src/ubify.cyninv2theme'
Develop: '/opt/cyn.in/src/ubify.smartview'
Develop: '/opt/cyn.in/src/ubify.recyclebin'
Develop: '/opt/cyn.in/src/ubify.xmlrpc'
Develop: '/opt/cyn.in/src/kss.plugin.jquery'
While:
Installing.
Getting section maildrophost.
Initializing section maildrophost.
Getting option maildrophost:MAILDROP_USER.
Error: Referenced option does not exist: instance effective-user

I did set a user in user.cfg as per the readme. This is on Centos5 with all the required packages installed. Any ideas how I can move past this? Or does it really only work on Ubuntu (which would be a bummer since a large majority of servers are RHEL or CentOS)?

Thx.

Chris.

Hi!

Sorry for the delayed reply on this, I missed your post.

Did you try actually changing the MAILDROP_USER option in the buildout.cfg file. While cyn.in is tested by us for Ubuntu 8.10 and Debian 4 and 5, there is absolutely no reason for it to not be possible to run on any other linux.

Do let us know if you're still stuck with this. Other people have been able to make it work with RHEL, at least of that I'm sure.

Dhiraj Gupta.

maybe you have only used

./bin/buildout

and not

./bin/buildout -c user.cfg

(this was the cause for the same error here)
