Hello, every 01! We are evaluating cyn.in at the academy of fine arts in vienna. The question now is: what performance do YOU get with cyn.in? We are running it i a zope cluster with 5 virtual machines and get response times of 3-5 seconds. Could we do any better? Can YOU share any performance tweaks? Any suggestion is welcome!

@suhaspro Do you have experience with cyn.in performance? We experienced that it is getting better when it is being used for some time - the caches seem to fill then...

Okay, now i found *one* reason why cyn.in was very slow: We used bda.cache and did not have memcached installed - so *every* access had to wait for out LDAP Server to respond. That means hundreds of slow connections per request. Better now. :^)

Woups, I just noticed that too with vanilla cynapse installation
How do you enable LDAP caching in Cynin ?

Just simply set RAMCache as cache policy for the acl_user object handling AD authentication, working great !
