how to lock wiki page, disable editing

When using Cyn.in in my organization I encounter a problem: wiki page is sometomes edited unintentionally.
We know that for wiki page, just a click on body of wiki will lead to edit that wiki and I don't think it's a good idea because when viewing content, people tend to click on content just as a way to focus on the content, without any intention for editing that content.
With this, sometimes wiki content are edited or, in the worse case, deleted. I know that there is function to revert to previous version but it's inconvinient because those who write that wiki (and know what it is, wheher it's changed or not) can not spend time all day checking wiki for unwanted changes and revert them.

MY QUESTION:
- Is there a way to lock wiki so that only author or those with suitable privilege can edit it
- To edit wiki, I think the Edit button is more than enough (all other types of content just use this Edit button). Click-on-the-body-to-edit is not only unnecessary but also causes unwanted changes to wiki.

Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks.

Hi,

The setting to allow edit on clicking on body of content - also known as Inline editing - has been enabled in your Cyn.in. This is disabled by default for the exact reason that you pointed out. You can easily disable this from the administration - Site Settings.

To set permissions on who gets to collaborate and edit the wiki, simply go to the sharing screen of the Space and assign permissions to members of your Cyn.in. More information about assigning permissions here: http://www.cynapse.com/[…]/view and here: http://www.cynapse.com/[…]/space-permissions-concepts
