Need for Integration of cloud BPM tool.
I'm trying to integration process views of www.signavio.com into Cyn.in wiki to create a social BPM environment. Signavio is well integrated into most common CMS and collaboration tools. It will offer integration source code by:
- javascript for interactive view with zoom
- external picture link
- Google gadget
I know about possibility for integration ousing <embed> and <object>, but this is not offered by Signavio.
Are there any posibilities to integrate above mentioned code into Cyn.in wiki?

Hmm... good question.

It *is* actually possible to have javascript pasted into the source view of the WYSIWYG editor (in the HTML source view), but this gets stripped away by the default save settings. You could try enabling the script tags, (in visual editor settings inside Control Panel), but this will enable all people with Can Add permission to be able to put javascript into Wiki pages - which is usually a really bad idea.

A better idea is to have a jquery hookup on a special css class or html tag id and then have a call based on the selector. This requires a bit of customization, but it is much better integration because typically we set it up to use the styles dropdown in the visual wiki editor so it can be used even by people who want to stay away from the HTML source code view altogether. Availability of this technique depends a lot on the exact details, so we'd require to have a deeper look at how exactly the javascript integrations that signavio is offering, of course.

I have removed filtering of script tags in HTML filter within siteadmin control panel and rebooted server. But filtering is still active. Any idea what's missing?

Hello Guido,

To allow Javascript code within the visual editor, you have to go to the "HTML Filter settings" interface, through the Control panel.

Here you will find Tags, Attributes & Styles that have been enabled and disabled for the editor. In the Tags section, there are two types of tags:

Nasty Tags: Tags listed under this will be automatically stripped and deleted by the editor, the moment you switch from the HTML view to the rich editor view in the visual editor.

Stripped Tags: Tags listed under this will be stripped when saving. However, they will continue to show in the edit mode of the editor.

The Script tag is added both these lists by default.

In your scenario, when you go to the HTML screen, can you see the script tags still in the nasty and stripped tags list, after restarting? The trick there is to save each time after removing the tag from each list. Once you have done this, script tag will be enabled for your site. Please check and update here.

Tip: You don't need to reboot the server for this configuration.

Hello Romasha,
Many thanks for your hint. Script is now working but there are visual elements missing, which are part of the script. So I guess it needs some more effort which we can implement on a project base.
